Ongoing researches have categorically proven that any attempt in writing the history of Tamils would be incomplete without referring to their connect with Southeast Asia and vice versa.
I had the opportunity of sharing my research content on this connection of Tamils with two of Southeast Asian countries – Thailand and Indonesia with the Tamil group- ‘Ameeraga Thamilagam’ in Abudhabi, back in 2020. The presentation in Tamil was done in two sessions, one in September and the other in October, 2020.
When the pandemic hit the whole world hard, all meetings, conferences, workshops and engagements went online. Hence, these presentations were done through zoom meets.
